This piece explores the intersection of organic form and dynamic connection. Inspired by the delicate patterns of slime mold sporangia, the overlapping shallow bowls represent a meeting point—where separate elements merge and evolve. The muted lavender hue evokes a sense of tranquility, while the opalescent dots at the center speak to the intricate and often unseen processes of growth and transformation. This piece invites the viewer to reflect on the beauty of convergence and the harmonious relationship between the elements. I made this by hand pulling the thin lavender cane, then networking two small bowls, tearing them apart, and joining them to an overlapping configuration. Opalescent sporangia were added to the center shape. This piece hangs from a clear wire and is light enough to hang from a thin nail.
